Wine probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind when you think about Brazil, and with good reason; the climate in most areas of this equatorial country is simply not suited to wine production. But in a cooler, hilly pocket of land in the very south of the country, producers are finding some plots of land that offer the right conditions to make good quality wines. International producers are bringing their know-how to the region and the reputation of Brazilian wine continues to grow.
