Story: Founded in 1875 by Englishman Edmund Norton who planted vines in Mendoza’s Lujan Cuyo district in the Andean foothills. The vines were planted at an altitude varying from 900-1100 metres creating an arid environment with moderate temperature that led to an extended ripening season. With more exposure to ultraviolet light, the grapes experienced greater colour and tannin development. Today, the winery is considered to be one of the top 20 in the world.
