Story: Auchentoshan is known as the ‘Glasgow’s Malt Whisky’ due to its proximity to the city in the heart of the Lowlands. While the heydays of the Lowland region have past, Auchentoshan continue to shine, steadfastly sticking to their tradition of triple-distilling their whisky to produce a delicate and very drinkable style. The Three Wood has been matured in three different casks; starting in American oak ex-Bourbon casks, before moving to Spanish Oloroso and finally Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. This unique process gives this whisky a sweet, complex finish.
