Story: The family-owned Louis Roederer is one of the few remaining completely independent great Champagne houses. In the 19th Century they built a great reputation across Europe that Russian Tsar Alexander II asked Roederer to produce a special crystal bottled Champagne, which would become the famous Louis Roederer Cristal, one of the original prestige cuvées. Quality extends right through the range; due in part to the excellent fruit that predominately comes from Roederer’s own carefully managed Premier and Grand Cru vineyards.

Tasting Notes: The Brut Premier shows youth and freshness while reserve wines bring a rich, rounded element. It has fresh apple and stone fruit notes on the nose, and a smooth, complex palate shows flavours of white-fleshed fruit, red berries and toast. The fine bead gives a smooth, mature finish.
