Story: Bill Taylor Sr., together with his sons John and Bill Jr. set about sourcing an exceptional site to realise their dream and establish their vineyard, and in 1969 purchased a holding of 178 hectares by the Wakefield River in Auburn. Today, they are founding members of Australia’s First Families of Wine, a group that works to promote the outstanding quality wines produced by Australia’s independent wineries.
